We all realize we shouldn’t eat this stuff… and I recommed staying away from it,  for what I think are obvious reasons

Yet… the truth is, people are going to keep eating this kind of industrial made food until their body’s natural systems break down and disease begins.

And once disease begins, there are some people that start researching what might have contributed to the disease taking hold. It is to you… to whom I write this article.

What Are The Health Damaging Ingredients In a McRib?

Image result for brushing your teethYour McRib Sandwich Bun … contains the same ingredients as your toothbrush. You use it in your mouth, but you’re not likely to think of eating your toothbrush as any form of nutrition.

The McRib, which is only available for a short time in the U.S. and Canada, contains over 70 ingredients for an item that is supposedly compiled from a bun, a barbecue patty, pickles, and onions.  It has slightly more nutrition than your toothbrush … and tastes better.  But, that doesn’t constitute calling it food.

In fact the McDonald’s official website is daring enough to list all of the ingredients contained in it.  This sandwich  is not only full of genetically modified ingredients, a mixture of toxic fillers and preservatives, but also has ingredients that are banned in other countries.

What Is The McRib Meat? …  because, it’s not Rib Meat.

According to the current box labeling, the sandwich consists of just five basic components – a pork patty and BBQ sauce with pickle slices, onions and a sesame bun.

But, as Time magazine shows, a closer examination of McDonald’s own list of ingredients finds that the sandwich contains a total of 70 ingredients, including azodicarbonamide, a flour-bleaching component that is often used to produce foamed plastics. Azodicarbonamide, the compound used to bleach yoga mats, is also found in the soles of shoes.  The compound is banned in Europe and Australia due to health risks.

Ammonium sulfate is used in the McRib bun as well – and is also in fire extinguisher powder and flame-proofing agents, according to the International Plant Nutrition Institute.

 

The McRib is a product of “restructured meat technology.”

 

A professor from the University of Nebraska named Richard Mandigo, developed the “restructured meat product” that the McRib is made of.

Image result for McribImage result for McribAccording to an article from Chicago magazine,  “restructured meat product” contains a mixture of tripe, heart, and scalded stomach, which is then mixed with salt and water to extract proteins from the muscle. The proteins bind all the pork trimmings together so that it can be re-molded into any specific shape — in this case, a fake slab of ribs.

What Is In The McRib Bun?

The McRib Bun (This has the majority of chemical additivies that contribute to metabolic disease)

I grew up next to the wonder bread factory in the hills of southern california.  On the mornings when they were baking bread… we would open the windows and the smell would roll through the house.

Because we were so close, my mother would purchase the bread straight from the storefront of the factory.  And when we  looked at the expiration dates, I learned just how long commercial bread lasts on the shelf over the bread that my mother would cook at home.

Image result for homemade breadDuring the years as a single mom, raising 4 kids, I made 3 loaves of bread every 3 days.  That means I’ve made thousands of loaves of bread over 20 years.

Now… There are 4 main ingredients in homemade bread.  Flour (usually I made a mix of whole wheat and unbleached wheat), yeast, oil, and water.

That’s it.

As you will see in the list below, there are a number of extra ingredients included in making a McRib bun. And this would be true for most manufactured white bread.  … Just read the label.

Why The Extra Ingredients In A McRib Bun? …

The secret very few realize is in the “manufacturing” of the basic ingredients in manufactured food.

Image result for laboratory vitamins and mineralsIt’s important to discover why “manufactured vitamins and minerals” are included in “manufactured bread”.  Homemade bread naturally has these vitamins and minerals.

Obviously something wrong and should be looked at closer by anyone who finds this fact interesting.

The main words you want to research are: denatured food, manufatured vitamins in food, meat processing.

Enriched Flour (… these are the manufactured ingredients that go into “enriched” flour, and are added because the bread would have quasi nil-nutrition without adding manufactured nutrition into the mix)

Bleached Wheat Flour

Malted Barley Flour

Niacin (manufactured niacin)

Reduced Iron (manufactured iron)

Thiamin Mononitrate (manufactured thiamin)

Riboflavin (manufactured riboflavin)

Folic Acid (manufactured riboflavin)

Yeast, Cultured Wheat Flour

Dough Conditioners: (these are all chemicals made in a laboratory and totally unecessary for natural bread)

Enzymes

Guar Gum

Calcium Peroxide

As the adage goes… “You are what you eat”.  Image result for you are what you eat

If you’re going to eat this… make sure to make it a special one-time event… maybe one time a month while the special marketing is going on.

When you eat things like this as everyday-everymeal food, your body can’t handle all the chemicals and metabolic disease will take hold.
